Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced, senior PHP front-end developer to join our team.
You will have to be able to work independently on projects, while keeping in constant communication with the rest of the team
 
This role will give you the freedom of remote work while still feeling very much part of a team 
 
 
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Software Development / Computer Science or related fields
5 - 7 years development experience on projects of all sizes (from inception to implementation) in PHP
Successfully led a functional team of developers
At least five years of full stack experience; PHP, JS, HTML, CSS, with framework experience including Laravel, Bootstrap, CSS and jQuery.
Solid understanding of MySQL, relational database design and writing complex SQL queries.
Proficient with Linux environment via command line.
Exposure to and experience integrating your projects with a variety of third-party API providers.

What will be expected of you:
You will be leading a small, functional development team on the front-end development of our core product, focusing on ease of use, scale, and speed
You will need to write clean code of a high standard, in a scalable way, delivered in a timely manner. The goal is for your code to improve the product experience for our clients and users etc.
In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
You should be able to take initiative to move the company forward while also improving our internal practices where necessary.
Eager to mentor and coach peers and junior members of the team to continue to build a strong Development team and culture.
Able to self-direct and spot the gaps and find solutions to move the Development practices forward.
Stays abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends.
A team player who thrives in a fast-moving, small team.
A clear communicator in English for an international audience (verbal and written).
Take ownership of projects to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Ability to define and apply application architecture principles and planning to your code before you start.
Ability to articulate problems and issues to a wider audience outside of the Development team.
Independently seek answers and connect with a wider stakeholder group for Development and product-related issues.
Ability to work and communicate with colleagues and teams remotely, through different media such as instant communication, email communication, video calls, and documentation.
Ability to estimate work packages and break them down into deliverables to meet project deadlines.
