As an Analyst within this multinational organization, you will have the opportunity to work closely with specialists across multiple countries. You will bridge the gap between South African activities and global operations, driving and assisting with changes, enhancements and projects from conception to successful implementation, ensuring that the local operations align seamlessly with the broader global vision.

In addition to the above you will provide support and training to users on system functionality as well as technical support if required. The company is in the process of transitioning from Microsoft to Google WorkSpace, knowledge of SharePoint and/or AppSheet is beneficial.

This role offers the employed candidate the opportunity to work from home, after a successful introductory period.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
2-5 years hands on development and support of large applications, in any language is beneficial. This experience will assist in the transitioning of new applications, built by the global team and external vendors, into the system.
Well-versed in SharePoint Workflow and Document development or equivalent, i.e., Google AppSheet, with at least 2 years of experience.
Background in SAP ECC6 or later is required (front-end user is sufficient).
Experience on the following SAP modules (MM/SD/FI/PP) would be advantageous.
Background in SAP Business Object (BO) or any equivalent analytical reporting tool is required (front-end user is sufficient).
Background in Google Workspace is required, particularly to basic business applications such Google Docs/Sheets/Slide.
Experience in Google apps (Forms/AppSheet) would be advantageous.
Experience using a remote access tool to support end users and systems.
Experience in end user support through a helpdesk either remotely or desk side support.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for a broad range and support of systems and users, from the introduction of new applications, modifications, upgrades of existing systems and technical troubleshooting services.
Responsible for project management of local IT related projects and selected Global/Regional IT project rollouts either infrastructure or application related.
Maintain IT Applications both in-house developed and deployed by regional/global IT Team.
Support future changes and/or improvements in areas of IT, such as ERP System, adopted business applications from other regions.
Ensures economic and efficient availability of data within adequate safeguards for security, integrity, and availability.
Ensure effective communication and better understanding between users and the IT department by means of providing training and clarification to users.
Analyze user requirements, evaluate options, recommend solutions, and project manage the implementation of new systems and facilities.
