Sales/Office Manager (KMT017)
Moddertontein
R20 000 – R25 000 per month CTC
 
Well established perishables manufacturing and distribution company based in Modderfontein is currently sourcing a Sales / Office Manager to join their team.
Previous experience dealing with retail outlets and bakeries advantageous but not required
 
Duties:
Looking for a naturally positive leader who can motivate, energize and inspire a team
Motivate the sales team to achieve results.
Set benchmarks and develop reporting metrics that improve sales performance over the short, medium and long term.
Play a role in improving customer service levels within the department
Implement and ensure adoption of the CRM system.
Coach and develop all members of the sales team and this includes team and individual meetings, appraisals and where necessary addressing performance related issues.
Work in partnership with the management of the company on sales strategy in order to deliver sustainable sales growth.
Deal with incoming sales and customer enquiries including queries, orders, returns and credits.
Lead by example
Ensure that calling schedules are adhered to and assist with vetting of new customers and distributors.
Strategic thinker who is able to think outside the box and identify sales opportunities.
Experienced in mentoring a team to achieve improved results.
 
Requirements
MS Office computer skills (Mostly Excel)
Excellent communication skills with strong listening skills.
Skilled negotiator with a consultative sales approach who can successfully close sales over the telephone.
Develop good working relationships with staff
Work well with different departments and customers.
Results and deadline driven
Relevant Business Qualification but not essential
