Receptionist & Internal Sales Agent (JB2963)
Area: Moreleta Park / Pretoria  
Salary: R10 000,00 to R15 000,00 a month + Comm (Depending on experience)
Work Hours: 9-6 daily plus 9-2 every second Saturday
Duration: Permanent

Overview
A well-established Blind & Awning Company is looking for a Receptionist and Internal Sales Agent to join their Team.  You will become the face of the company, helping walk in customers with quotes and sales, and handle the front of Store / Reception area
 
Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Sales and / or Receptionist qualification (Highly Beneficial)
Basic excel skills
Telephone etiquette and email skills
Research skills 
Sales Experience
Critical thinking (what product best suited)
Organization skills
ACCURATE typing skills – especially numbers
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
Presentable (face of the company). Must look professional and neat at all times
Enthusiastic personality and excited about the products
Fast learner and able to memorize product knowledge
Responsible and loyal (be on time and show brand loyalty)
Neatness (front desk to be orderly)
Willing to work the hours (9-6 daily plus 9-2 every second Saturday)
Friendly
Able to handle difficult reps / customers
Positive attitude – Be willing to learn from others.
Check and answer mails daily
Do quotes in a timely manner and follow up within 24 hours is not sooner
Do regular follow-ups on quotes if not accepted within 24 hours
To attend workshops regarding BlinQ to sort out all errors and queries
Make appointments for reps
Assist with queries if received
Assist walk in clients
Greet walk in clients in a friendly manner
Assist agents with quotes and queries
Send important info and out of stock or discontinued lists to agents
Answer the landline when it rings and take messages for co-workers when needed
Work in Shop every second weekend
Close and Open shop when needed
Assist with colleagues work when they are on leave (emails, sales analyses, follow up on orders, etc.)
Attend Monday morning meetings
Switch on the TV and lamps in the Showroom daily before the shop doors are opened
Make sure the showroom is tidy and all the swatches are in place
Arrange for the installers to fix blinds in the showroom when broken
Keep showroom prices up to date
Order new showroom blinds when needed
Order new swatches when needed
Update showroom swatches regularly
Post Out of stock and discontinued lists on the group
Remove discontinued materials from the swatches in the showroom and reps’ swatches
Make notes of new swatches delivered with date
Count swatches at least once a month to make sure all is still there
Order new swatches when available
Print new price lists for the shop when we receive them and save a copy to the cloud.  Make sure old lists are removed
Order brochures when needed
Do petty cash on Friday mornings
Check cash sales every morning to make sure correct amounts are handed over
Charge Yoko machine very Monday
Book in blinds that need to be repaired
Do quotes for the repair of the blinds if booked in for repair
Go through component containers regularly to check which components need to be ordered.
Uphold and preserve the company’s reputation
Willing to commit for 2 years
