As the team manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and supervising, supporting, and training Junior Accountants in a Trust Accounting environment to provide exceptional client services.
Minimum Requirements:
SAIPA registered
Minimum of 2 years post articles experience
Experience managing a team of Junior Accountants / Bookkeepers
Background in Trust Accounting
Pastel Partner or similar
Draftworx
Sars E-filing
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assume direct supervision of a team of 10 staff members, providing guidance, mentorship, and effective leadership.
Act as a resource for team members, offering expert guidance on complex financial and tax matters.
Review work performed by team members, maintaining quality control to support accuracy and compliance.
Take comprehensive ownership of all client portfolios, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and adherence to client objectives.
Assume responsibility for the final review and sign-off on Annual Financial Statements, ensuring precision, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
Submission of tax returns to the South African Revenue Service (SARS), maintaining records of filings and deadlines.
Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships through regular meetings, addressing client concerns, and presenting comprehensive financial insights and recommendations.
