Overview
The purpose of this position is to develop and execute all aspects of testing for all change requests and projects.  The QA Engineer is responsible for the successful completion of manual and automated test programs, and to ensure compliance to contractual test requirements through development and support of manual and automated processes, plans and procedures. This role will have the overall responsibility of defining and executing manual and automated test plans for the solutions following the SDLC as part of the testing strategy to move towards automated testing.
 
Minimum Requirements:
2 - 5 years automated testing experience
2 - 5 years manual testing experience
1 - 2 years Selenium use experience
Specific experience within the Insurance sector
An understanding of C#
Experience in compiling test reports
Project management experience
Experience with Microsoft SQL – Preferred
Experience with VMware platform – Preferred
Proven Experience with MS Dynamics – Preferred
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that all systems are tested correctly and function bug free through robust and industry standard manual and automated test procedures
Support brand partners by ensuring that all new applications or changes to applications function correctly
Support the completion of automated testing projects
Constantly follow up on international trends and practices concerning automated system testing to allow proactive implementation
Allow a reduction of risk, service improvement and effective and efficient business operations due to effective and efficient automated testing
