Electronic Maintenance and Repair Technician (JB3774)

R35 – 50 000 CTC per month

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team in Randburg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, a Metrologist Qualification, and 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electronic Maintenance and Repair Technician. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment, as well as conducting calibration procedures. This role may require travel and onsite work, and candidates must possess a valid driver's license and own transport.

Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Metrologist Qualification
5 to 10 years of experience as a repair technician
Valid driver's license and own transport
Passport
Willingness to travel and work on-site
Proficient in reading electronic technical drawings and circuit diagrams
Working knowledge of electronic components and their functions in circuit diagrams
Familiarity with calibration procedures
Ability to perform repairs down to the board level
Willingness to engage in mechanical work, including building Test Trailers when required
Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
Excellent presentation and communication skills to interact effectively with customers


Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electronic equipment, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards
Conduct calibration procedures and maintain calibration records
Read and interpret electronic technical drawings and circuit diagrams
Troubleshoot and repair electronic components down to board level
Perform mechanical tasks such as building Test Trailers when necessary
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient repairs and maintenance
Maintain accurate records of repairs and calibration activities
Provide excellent customer service and communication
Willingness to travel and work onsite as required
