Lecturer - IT (JB4144)

R38 000 – R46 000 CTC per month

Well-respected private tertiary education institution requires the expertise of a qualified IT lecturer with previous corporate experience in IT development/ programming.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed IT or Electrical Engineering-related honours degree.
Completed or busy with Master's degree and ideally looking to pursue a Ph.D.
2 or more years of corporate experience in IT Development/ Programming.
Some teaching/ lecturing/ mentoring or Learning and development experience is advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lecture IT-related modules both online and face-to-face.
Marking and moderation of IT-related assessments.
Assist in lecturer development and support processes and procedures.
Champion/lead and manage academic development and support for the IT program and its students.
Track student success and implement support interventions where required.
Promote a culture of scholarship, discipline, and campus/team and contribute towards the achievement of annual research output targets.
