Operations Engineer (JB1375)

R35 - 40 000 per month (negotiable)

Minimum requirements: 
BSc Eng/BEng (Mechanical, Mechatronics or related) or similar
Experience with Solidworks is preferred.
Experience working within an ISO 13485 environment will be advantageous.
Good experience with a computer aided design package (preferably SolidWorks)
Strong engineering knowledge and skills
Basic machining and tooling skills
Goal-focused, with a proven track record of "getting things done".
Ability to work well in a team and efficiently within highly regulated environment
Good report-writing and communication skills
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Operations Engineer will be primarily involved in the design on production equipment for medical devices developed by the R&D teams, process implementation and validation, calibration, maintenance of facilities, resources and equipment. 
Design and manufacturing of R&D and production equipment
Optimisation of production processes
Maintenance and calibration of production, quality and research equipment
Facilities and resource maintenance
Technical support for production
Process validation
Software validation
Generation and maintenance of documentation relating to equipment and processes
Work within the quality management system of the company and assist in complying with ISO 1348
