Developer/Software Engineer (KMT007)
Woodmead
R35000 – R40 000 per month
 
 
Our client, a large business intelligence solutions company, based in Woodmead, urgently requires a young Developer/Software Engineer to start immediately or as soon as possible!
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications and industry experience 
 
Requirements:
Matric - Accountancy as subject at school or university is important for pure IT or Engineering degrees. Some Engineering degrees include Accountancy as a course, and that will be accepted.
Only candidates with Engineering / BSc IT Honours / B. Com IT Honours or a related degree will be considered.
Only degrees from recognised Universities will be considered. Please provide the academic transcripts with the CV
Strong SQL skills and good understanding of relational database design principles
OLAP design knowledge - A solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering methodologies
Experience of working in an end-to-end development project
Experience in developing financial applications with Microsoft.NET & C++.
Experienced in Cognos TM1, Cognos Framework Manager, Transformer and Powerplay (Advantageous)
Database design (advantageous)
 
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Design and develop various types of models
Developing and presenting POC’s
End-to-end development
Drafting of documents (including BRS, training manuals, technical specifications etc.)
Quality control on technical aspects
Provide support to clients and staff
Training of staff and clients
