IT Solutions Manager (JB3756)

R60 000 per month, negotiable

As the IT Solutions Manager, you would be responsible for understanding business requirements, managing software releases and implementing off-the-shelf solutions to address enterprise changes.

Your previous experience should preferably be in a software development environment, with a .NET framework focus. Knowledgeable in SDLC, understand how coding works, have the ability to read technical documentation and understand workflow and automation.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in software release management and project coordination, preferably in an Agile environment.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in the .NET framework.
Excellent business analysis and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with data management principles and practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Project management or Agile certification is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Software Release Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for managing software releases, akin to a Product Owner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and define release schedules.
Ensure that software releases align with business objectives and deliver value to stakeholders.

Business Analysis and Solution Implementation:
Develop a deep understanding of the organization's business processes and challenges.
Identify opportunities for leveraging off-the-shelf solutions to solve business problems.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement software solutions that align with business goals and requirements.

Technical Expertise:
Possess a strong technical background, particularly in software development within the .NET framework.
Collaborate with software developers to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
Review and assess the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

Data Management:
Recognize the strategic value of data within the organization.
Collaborate with data analysts and data engineers to leverage data for business insights and decision-making.
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Documentation and Communication:
Maintain clear and organized documentation of requirements, solutions, and processes.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on project progress and milestones.
