Warehouse Assistant (JB4663)
Strydom Park, Randburg
R 10 000 CTC per month
Fixed term contract September 2024 – Mid December 2024

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our logistics team on a fixed term contract from September 2024 to Mid December 2024. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse by assisting with the receiving, handling, storing, and dispatching of products within the warehouse. You will ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation purposes.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve repetitive motions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Unload incoming deliveries, check for accuracy against purchase orders, and properly
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and reporting any discrepancies.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are packed securely and accurately labelled.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and performing routine housekeeping tasks.
Complete necessary paperwork for shipments, deliveries, and inventory management, ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date.
Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
