R12 – 13 000 per month CTC

Overview
The Junior IT Technician should have a good understanding of IT infrastructure and network hardware with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and products.  A individual who is able to work independently, with strong analytical and problem solving skills would be best suited to this position.
 
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
A+, N+ Certification
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
MCSA will be of benefit
Skilled in MS Office
Basic Network Troubleshooting and Network cabling experience
Working knowledge of computer/laptop hardware and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of backup solutions
Working knowledge of AD and DC
Working knowledge of VOIP telephony systems (Yealink)
Working knowledge in Servers (MS Server 2008 R2, 2012 ,2016) will be an advantage
Valid driver`s license and own reliable vehicle
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage daily and on-going technical operations
Oversee and maintain secure, efficient and robust Desktop and Network architecture
Provide onsite and Remote IT Support
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes
Maintain hardware and software inventory
Printing/Scanning support (IP Printing, shared network printing, local printers)
Implement, administer and troubleshoot IT infrastructure devices, Including wireless access points, Telephones, routers, switches
Assist in managing disaster recovery/business continuity plan to ensure timely and cost-effective recovery of computers, telephony and network
Assist in implementing and/or developing essential technology use policies and procedures
Provide technical hardware and software support to all employees and branches
Escalate support queries to Upstream provides when necessary
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Lead or support special projects as determined by IT Management
Able to work after-hours and or standby
