Developer/Software Engineer (MKT453)
Woodmead
R35000 – R55000 per month neg
 
Our client, a large business intelligence solutions company, based in Woodmead, urgently requires a young Developer/Software Engineer to start immediately or as soon as possible!
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications and industry experience 
 
Requirements:
Matric - Accountancy as subject at school or university is important for pure IT or Engineering degrees. Some Engineering degrees include Accountancy as a course, and that will be accepted.
with Engineering / BSc IT Honours / B. Com IT Honours or a related degree will be considered.
Strong SQL skills
good understanding of relational database design principles
OLAP design knowledge
solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering methodologies
end-to-end development project
developing financial applications with Microsoft.NET & C++.
Cognos TM1, Cognos Framework Manager, Transformer and Powerplay (Advantageous)
Database design (advantageous)
 
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Design and develop various types of models
Developing and presenting POC’s
End-to-end development
Drafting of documents (including BRS, training manuals, technical specifications etc.)
Quality control on technical aspects
Provide support to clients and staff
Training of staff and clients
