Business Development Sales Manager (JB3017)
Woodmead, Sandton
R35000 – R50 000 per month plus commission

Help the business remain competitive and grow by developing a network of contacts to attract new clients, identifying, and acquiring new accounts, research new market opportunities, making sales projections and forecasting revenue that will have a major strategic impact on the long-term success of the company.

Main Purpose of The Job:               
Continually developing the brand and building increasing brand awareness in the market-place.
Generating and seeking out potential new opportunities for sales (research new market opportunities).
Developing and managing relationships with potential clients, influencers, and key stakeholders (networking).
Evaluating new opportunities to ensure resource focus on the best opportunities available.
Managing proposals and submissions of proposals.
Monitoring competitors and reviewing the current offering considering competitors’ developments.
Participating in new business contract negotiations.
Overall accountability includes market analysis, development, and implementation of sales targets (making sales projections and forecasting revenue).
 A Strong sales and business development background is essential

Requirements of the Job:
 BA Degree or equivalent degree preferred.
Must be extremely effective at initiating high-level contacts in sales and have excellent communication skills including strong presentation skills.
Must have excellent negotiating skills to close the sale.
Creativity and ingenuity in developing successful sales strategies; have a working knowledge of the industry along with a pulse on what is forthcoming.
 Ability to generate leads and build business in a wide-open online market.
Possess growth-oriented philosophy and can manage growth responsibly.
Entrepreneurial-oriented philosophy
 Excellent computer literacy is essential especially in CRM, MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel (technical skills).
 Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.
