This is a unique opportunity for a Kotlin Mobile Engineer to gain extensive cross-platform mobile development experience while building scalable apps for a leading global health club brand.Based in Cape Town this Kotlin Mobile Engineer role offers in the region of R1mil.THE COMPANY:This is the world's leading health club and a global fitness brand, operating 238 clubs in 8 countries. Whilst wellness remains their heartbeat, technology is the pulse that keeps them pushing boundaries.THE ROLE:As the Kotlin Mobile Engineer, you will be at the forefront of cross-platform mobile development, using Kotlin to build seamless, and scalable applications across multiple platforms.
You will implement and champion Agile methodologies, contributing to the management of sprints and promoting an improvement-focused workflow.
You will guide Kotlin best practices to teams and clients, lead Multiplatform strategies and participate in open-source projects relevant to Kotlin Multiplatform. Additionally, you will implement innovative features for enhancing user experience, and lead continuous integration and continuous development to streamline development processes.REQUIRED SKILLS:- A bachelor's degree or higher degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
- At least 4 years of Android Development experience.
- Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile Experience.
- Ability to configure and debug Kotlin/Native and Xcode tooling.
- Experience in developing and publishing KMP libraries.
- Experience in native app development.
- Experience in developing and deploying solutions on the Azure Cloud Platform.
- Experience in Agile ways of work.
- Experience in Open-source projects.
