Eastern Cape, Port ElizabethMonthly Cost To Company (Market related)Our client in the Manufacturing industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ a Laboratory Analyst.An exciting career opportunity awaits!Requirements:
- B Tech or BSc in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry advantageous. (Minimum qualification: National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry).
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or related Quality Systems.
- Knowledge of HSE (Health Safety and Environment)
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to execute instructions.
- Daily executions of the production sample analyses.
- Actively persue to reduction in analysis variation.
- Actively pursue the attainment of personal key performance indicators.
- Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Report any deviations from expected outcome to immediate superior.
- Submitting of NCRs for non-conforming tests.
- Report any safety and security breaches to immediate superior.
- Maintain the cleanliness in the lab by cleaning immediately after each spill.
- Follow good laboratory principles.
- Engage and participate as a member of a learning organisation by expanding your skills through training and development.
- Identify and communicate restrictions and bottlenecks.
- Foster an environment for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System at all times.
- Perform other duties which may reasonably be expected of the position.
