Job Summary
- B.Sc Agric (Animal Production) with the following modules: Animal Breeding studies, Animal Production, Animal Nutrition, Laboratory Studies
- Min 3 years' Laboratory experience
- Veterinary experience will be advantageous
- Leadership skills, good health (physical work), must be prepared to work overtime and shifts
- Any work and duties contained in the Standard Operating Procedures of the bull station, including but not limited to:
- Administration and execution of semen production orders, records and invoicing
- Administration surrounding semen straw storage
- All Technical and laboratory work of the bull station and any other tasks that might be delegated to the employee by the directors of the company.
- Client liaison
- Lab Management
- Collection, evaluation, freezing of animal DNA
- Animal health, adjusting feeding programs, controlling weight loss/gain
