Laboratory Technician Level 1: Microbiology
Job Description
NviroTek Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician responsible for accurately preparing mediums according to SANAS specifications for the Microbiology laboratory.
Responsibilities:
Precise preparation of agars and reagents, including mixing, dispensing, and autoclaving, in adherence to standard operating procedures.
Receive and verify new raw products against stock and purchase inspection lists, ensuring accuracy with orders and delivery notes, and store in designated areas per SOP.
Responsible for the general administration of SANAS forms.
Provide support in the Microbiology laboratory.
Responsible for the preparation of consumer goods.
At least 1-year relevant experience.
National Senior Certificate.
