Laboratory Technician Level 2: Microbiology
Job Description
NviroTek Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to perform microbiological analysis, ensuring accurate and timely results in compliance with accredited methods.
Responsibilities:
Perform analysis of client samples and intra-/inter-lab samples as required by ISO 17025, ensuring no deviations from accredited methods.
Timely and accurate capturing of test results, as well as interlab and intralab proficiency testing schemes and quality samples, on LIMS.
Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 17025:2017 and SANAS requirements by participating in annual reviews alongside analysts.
Responsible for general administration duties that include SOP and SOF version control, managing consumable orders, and monitoring storage temperatures.
At least 1-year relevant experience.
National Senior Certificate.
