Job Description


RESPONSIBILITIESPLANNING

  • Select the right equipment and/or tools for the task as planned.
  • monitor the dates for laboratory equipment collaboration and inspection
EXECUTION OF COMPACTED WELL CONSTRUCTION
  • Assist in execution of compacted well and other activities as instructed by the line manager/ supervisor.
  • maintain safety berm construction wall according to specification.
  • also lead the operator to stand up daily activities and monitor load and haul operation.
LEADING
  • Ensure professional interaction with client, supervisor and line manager at junior to middle management level.
  • engage with peers and senior on the project in support of management alignment towards achievement of project objectives.
SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Check the compliances of all laboratory equipment in terms of SHE requirements.
  • Liaise with SHEQ coordinators and fellow employees to maintain safety on the construction of compacted wall onsite.
CULTURE AND CLIMATE
  • Ensure a positive work environment is maintained for all internal and subcontracting shift on site.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Grade 12
  • Troxler training certificate will be added advantage
EXPIRIENCE
  • At least 2 to 3 years as Laboratory Technician in construction industry.
  • Quality control/ Assurance experience in the built environment will be added advantage.
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • Analytical skills
  • Problem solving skills.
