SUMMARY





As our

Labour Relations Office

r, you'll be the trusted advisor for all things related to disciplinary and grievance investigations. You'll handle labor matters and manage disciplinary processes with skill and precision. You'll also engage with stakeholders, handle CCMA matters and delve into case law research to offer exceptional advice to management and employees.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:





?YZ" National Diploma in Labour Law/Labour Relations/HR or equivalent at an NQF level 6

?Y"s A degree in Human Resources or Advanced Diploma in Labour Relations will be an added advantage.



?Y' Minimum 3 years of relevant practical experience



aoei Report writing skills;



?Y--i Mediation and facilitation skills



as-i CCMA or Bargaining Council representation experience



?Y" Sound knowledge of all labour legislation, policies, regulations, processes, and procedures.



?Ys-- Valid Driver's license



?Y' Computer literate, excellent communication skills, and initiative.



?YsEUR Able to work without supervision.

?Y" Proactive and able to take initiative.




?Y' RESPONSIBILITIES:




Provide advisory services on disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings based on applicable policies, standard operating procedures, best practices, and applicable legislation. Assist in providing advice and guidance to employees and management on labour matters. Assist in providing advice and guidance to management regarding the management of poor performance. Assist with handling of disciplinary and grievance processes. Compile discipline and grievance bundles. Assist in coordinating appeals, grievance hearings, and review of disciplinary hearings. Draft warnings to be issued to employees; maintain records of training, disciplinary, appeal, and grievance processes. Regular engagements with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth and conducive employee/employer environment. Track and coordinate the details of grievances, disciplinary hearings, and CCMA cases so that they are conducted and concluded within the stipulated timeframe. Attend, represent, and successfully defend cases at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration (CCMA). Liaise with line management and employees. Assess risks associated with grievances and disciplinary actions and propose remedial action. Research case law and/or outcomes of previous internal cases and advise both line management and employees.
