Minimum qualifications required:
BSc degree in Life Science and/or related fields
(BSc Honours would be advantageous)
Experience:
Experience within a science laboratory and ability to prepare reagents and operate scientific equipment

Responsibilities:
Competency in basic computer processing skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Planning, troubleshooting and implementing laboratory activities independently
Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
Knowledge and skills related to operating and troubleshooting basic laboratory equipment
Knowledge of laboratory procedures and troubleshoot challenges
Know-how regarding the writing of standard operating procedures for use of lab equipment or lab procedures
Unique work conditions: Science lab at a campus.
Physically capacity to participate in day to day housekeeping activities which includes carrying heavy items up to 25kg, climbing ladders etc.
Available during weekly work hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm), however flexible as the job demands
