Launch Engineer
Job Description
International leader in the automotive/aerospace industry, situated in Cape Town, is looking to employ a Launch Engineer to join the New Product Development team to be involved with the design and launch of new models and ideas. You will be involved with new product development, improvement on existing models, the prototype manufacturing process, ensuring the smooth roll out of new prototype designs onto production lines, and take responsibility for BOM requirements and changes.
You will also provide technical support to all stakeholders involved: procurement, production, commissioning, warranty department, etc.

Requirements:
Engineering Diploma or Degree xc3xa2xc2x80xc2x93 Mechanical
3 yearsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99 Designing experience in a Manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Solidworks xc3xa2xc2x80xc2x93 non negotiable
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Driverxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99s license and own transport is essential
