The Candidate should have a background in law and show a genuine passion for Law and ensuring a smooth hassle-free journey for their clients. Your focus will be Housing Disrepair clients and cases, ensuring they are completed to a high standard.The Case Handler will be working closely with Housing Disrepair Team Leaders,Solicitors and Paralegals to ensure that client matters receive the due diligence and attention required to provide the greatest chance of success.:We are looking for a Lawyer looking to learn English Law and take on a case load of clients who have issues with their landlords.You must be proficient in English with a natural accent and wants to work in the legal sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with existing clients and progress their case via communication with the Defendant and other parties ensuring the smooth progression of our clients' case. The ideal candidate would be fluent in English and able to sell the firm's services to new enquiries.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and process legal documents, such as contracts, briefs and pleadings,Maintain legal files and databases,Maintain client records and contact information, via our Case Management systemHandling clients matters and requests and keeping clients updated from initial enquiry to completion of their matter.Liaise with and instruct experts and counsel where necessary.Conduct legal research and analysis,Dealing with disrepair surveyors, associations, and housing providers such as City CouncilsAssist in the business development and growth of the department.You will possess excellent client service skills refined from experience within a similar environment.Having an empathetic nature and displaying a duty of care towards clients, especially those who may be deemed vulnerable and distressed.Excellent time management, prompt, and clear communication internally and externally.Able to keep up with targetsRequirements:Qualified LawyerProficiency in English (Both Written and Verbal),Able to speak English clearlyStrong attention to detail,Excellent organisational and time management skills,Ability to work independently and as part of a team,Good communication skills,Experience in a legal role is preferred but not required.Computer literate/Microsoft packages/email/CRMTime-management skillsThe ability to always maintain professional conduct.Possess excellent communication skills, internal and external, written, and vocal.Remote Requirement:As this role is remote, you must meet the following IT requirements to allow you to conduct your work.Reasonably Fast PC or LaptopPC or Laptop with Windows 10 or newerFast InternetHeadset with functioning MicrophoneA quiet room to work in throughout the dayIf you suffer from power outages, a generator or other means to bypass thisIf you meet the above requirements and are interested in this position, please submit your CV for consideration.
