We have an amazing opportunity for a Lead Building Civils Engineer based in Western Cape, Cape TownIndustry: Civil EngineeringLevel: SeniorKey Requirements:Civil Engineering Degree, preferably M. Eng or MSc. Eng.8+ years post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in Building Civils.Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng).Experience leading a design team of junior and mid-level staff in a multi-disciplinary environment.Proficiency in design of stormwater (hydrology), water (hydraulics), sewerage, bulk earthworks, roads, and pavement design.Familiarity with BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and ACC360.Technical expertise in project management, ensuring scope, budget, and quality standards are met.Ability to build and maintain client relationships, contributing to business development through technical input.Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with a focus on digital transformation and change management.Commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and procedures.Personal Attributes:Demonstrates leadership by providing mentorship, direction, and motivation to team members.Holds high standards of performance for self and others, fostering a culture of excellence.Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across disciplines and interface with clients.Proactive problem solver, capable of anticipating challenges and implementing effective solutions.Adaptable to changing priorities and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Promotes a culture of safety, integrity, and compliance within the team and project environments.Passionate about continuous learning and development, promoting technical competence among team members.If you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to or contact us at XXX-XXXX.
