Job Description

Advise companies on their cloud computing strategy, including cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring.
The incumbent will oversee the architecture and deployment in cloud environments and deliver hands-on, business-oriented strategic and technical consulting to our clients for cloud infrastructure, automation solutions, and solution architecture.

Architecture & Deployment
o Customer satisfaction through feedback from clients, cloud adoption rates, solution design quality
o Feedback, Solution, Design and Proposal delivery
o Provide periodic inputs for process reviews and improvements across C2, networks and cross functional teams
o Evaluates cloud architecture performance utilization, using vendor and other tools to propose recommendations
o Responsible for proposals and solutions that achieve cost savings, optimisation and improvements in managing cloud
expenses
o Deliver solution designs for customers based on best practices including migrations, cloud networking and new set-ups

Cloud Infrastructure & Partner Engagement
o Review, analyse and create prototype for Cloud services as proof of concepts (POCs) for Azure / Azure Stack, AWS and
other solutions withing the C2 portfolio
o Proposals containing capacity and architecture plans to create cloud environment to host migrated IaaS VMs and PaaS
o Implement a structured design process for creating a hybrid or public cloud architecture
o Design frameworks for Cloud Platform Implementation, Testing and Acceptance
o Work with third parties and partners to propose and recommend cloud solutions for custom requirements or
outsourced skill sets

Internal Engagement
o Non-standard/complex solutions - cross functional engagements, Sales Support, Service Desk, Products, Bid Office &
engagement with Engineering
o Training for sales, architects, customer employees and product teams
o Assist with technology selection and vendor selection for product management/ideation

Technical
o Proficiency in Cloud computing technologies and related industry trends
o Participation in training, certifications, and industry events

Qualifications
Degree in IT or Engineering related field and Post-Graduate Qualification
Industry certification e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar
Network engineering or similar certification advantageous

Experience

5-10 years' experience, including:
o Supporting cloud-based infrastructure
o Demonstrable experience architecting large-scale cloud migration projects
o Demonstrate the ability to solve complex, multi- system problems
o Extensive experience in architecting enterprise public cloud solutions
o Experience working in project team using an identified project management methodology
o In-depth knowledge of various IT and/or Telecoms technology architecture domains and convergence

o In-depth understanding of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into
traditional hosting/delivery models with a specific focus on AWS, Azure or GCP
o Extensive experience in conducting Cloud Readiness Assessments observing business and technical perspectives
o Experience evaluating existing compute infrastructure and digital strategies
o Experience conducting cloud service maps, TCO analysis, security considerations as part of a wider Cloud Adoption
Framework
o Cross Domain Technology Architecture knowledge coupled with implementation experience including a combination
