Software Developer position available at an International company. Electronic/Mechatronic engineer required with a minimum of 10 years of working experience in MATLAB/Simulink software development for embedded controllers used in the automotive environment.POSITION INFO:
Lead Software Developer: Automotive ControlsCape TownInternational company. Embedded development, -verification and -maintenance of software on the display hardware. Skills needed in RTOS and microprocessor designsQualification:

• B Eng. Degree in Mechatronic / Electronic

(M-preferred) * Willing to travel overseas for variable periods

• Minimum 10 years experience in embedded design
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink
• Knowledge of J1939 CAN communication and associated test tools/equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Embedded software development for products in the automotive environment
• Take ownership of the software development for the product portfolio
• Responsible for the development, -verification and -maintenance of software
• Field- and verification testing
• Support software development
• Work with controller hardware suppliers during product development
