Job Description
A next generation Fintech company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (PHP, Docker) to join their team based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Current experience as a Lead Developer will be preferred.Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
- Relevant IT Degree or Diploma (Desirable)
- 8+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience working as a Software Engineer (PHP)
- Ability to build, test, and deploy applications using Docker (non-negotiable)
- Experience with Git workflows (pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD)
- Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API services
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies (AWS etc.)
