A leading multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to take on a leadership role within a reputable and growing company.Key Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Lead the structural engineering department as part of a multi-disciplinary team.xc2xb7 Prepare detailed designs for reinforced concrete, steel, and timber structures.xc2xb7 Produce AutoCAD and Revit structural drawings and models, including reinforcement drawings and bending schedules.xc2xb7 Conduct site inspections and condition assessments for various structural projects.xc2xb7 Prepare reports for all stages of project implementation (inception, feasibility, design, tendering, and close-out).xc2xb7 Manage overall contract/project management, including client interaction, progress meetings, and handling contractual claims.xc2xb7 Supervise multi-disciplinary teams and junior staff.xc2xb7 Prepare tender documentation, including specification writing, bill of quantities, and drawings.xc2xb7 Oversee financial aspects of projects, including compiling invoices, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities.Key Requirements:xc2xb7 B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering.xc2xb7 Professional Engineer (Pr.
