Job Description


My client, a leading Retailer based in Cape Town requires a competent Learning and Development Facilitator for their East London branchKey Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with necessary stakeholders within Division
  • Identify Learning and Development needs through consultation with DGMs, DCMs, RCs, RAMs, Branch Managers and HR
  • Facilitate learning through scheduled and properly executed Learning and Development interventions
  • Execute reporting, administration and document control
  • Provide a consultation and advisory service to DGMs, DCMs, RCs, RAMs, Branch Managers and HR when needed
  • Represent Learning and Development within the divisional forums and keep stakeholders up-to-date regarding relevant matters
  • Manage costs in line with Learning and Development cost framework:
Requirements:Knowledge of adult learning principlesKnowledge of South African learning and development legislationFacilitation experience of at least 3 yearsRetail experience will be an advantageLearning and Development or HR qualificationGood planning, interpersonal and analytical skillsMust have a code 08 driving license and be willing to travelEffective writing and speaking skills in English and another official SA languagePresentation and Facilitation SkillsMust be criminal clear
