Our client, a development and property company is looking for a Leasing Administrator, based in Durban.Paralegal (LLB) with Leasing experienceJob Purpose:To administer and coordinate the leasing process or part thereof so that agreements of lease areexpediently concluded and captured to the property management system.To provide a prompt and efficient level of administrative support to the Property Manager as well ascoordinate the activities related to these functions.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handling of ITC checks, Fica documents, tenant applications.
  • Assisting the Property Managers with proposals, tenant information and other required tasks.
  • Compiling of information, drafting & arranging signing of Lease Authorisation Forms.
  • Typing leases (includes addendums, cessions, letters, etc).
  • Liaising with staff, tenants, management and legal with regards to the leases.
  • Arranging signing of leases & handling of all documentation.
  • Drafting and arranging signing of all resolutions for leases, and other property related matters.
  • Handling and filing of original leases, original bank guarantees, tenant information and
correspondence.
  • Drafting of any letters/adhoc items required for tenants, property managers and management.
  • Collating information and updating monthly schedules in respect of the portfolio, including leases,
commission and admin fees.
  • Assisting tenants with any required queries.
Educational Qualifications and Other Job RequirementsThe preferred requirements of a Lease Administrator are as follows:
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • 3 years experience as a lease administrator with a property group or company.
  • Microsoft Office (Word / Excel/ PowerPoint).
  • Excellent computer skills.
