The IIE enjoys the reputation of being at the forefront of private higher education in South Africa and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to provide higher education qualifications accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE).The IIE Varsity College, Nelson Mandela Bay campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (Part-Time) for the following modules for the 2025 academic year:1st semester

• Victimology in South Africa (VISA6221)

2nd semester

• Selected Contemporary Crime Issues (ISCI6212)

Minimum Education Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Arts Honours or Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Criminology and/or Criminal Justice.

Minimum Experience Required:

• Lecturing experience preferably two years lecturing experience in the discipline of Criminology.
• Work experience ideally in one or other field related to forensic criminology, research, criminology, forensic analysis, victim empowerment, and correctional services.

Working Conditions:

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.

• Position is part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays.
