The University of Fort Hare is seeking applications from appropriately qualified and experienced candidates for a Lecturer position in the Department of Animal Science and Pasture Science (1 post), Faculty of Science and Agriculture.POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• A relevant Masters Degree and registered for a Doctoral Degree
• At least 1 years experience in higher education or Qualification/courses in higher education teaching and learning
• Undergraduate teaching experience in Pasture Science
• Research publications or successful supervision or successful research grant funding .

• Evidence of successful fundraising for research.

Duties:

• Participate in research; curriculum design, development, and implementation
• Teach undergraduate (and postgraduate) modules
• Meet research publication requirements for academic rank of lecturer level
• Supervise students (Honours/Masters research)
• Secure research grants
• Participate in networking and collaborations in research and/or teaching
• Participate in mentorship programmes
• Participate in community engagement integrated with teaching or research
• Participate in administrative duties in the department
