- Minimum Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Botany)
- Three years teaching experience of biological sciences (Botany) modules at a tertiary institution/s.
- Preparing lecture notes and give lectures to students
- Preparing and arranging tutorial sessions for undergraduate students
- Preparation of practicals and marking of subsequent reports
- Setting and marking of tests and examinations
- Ensuring that practical equipments and consumables are in order at all times
