- Master's degree in Virology or Medical related qualification or related field
- A recognized teaching qualification and/or Associate Membership or Fellowship with Advanced HE certificates will be essential or desirable.
- Documented experience in the field of Immunology Research will be essential.
- Delivery of lectures, tutorials and lab-based teaching to immunology and Virology students.
- Contributing to the design and development of specialist modules in immunology and Virology.
- Conducting impactful applied research both individually and in collaboration with others.
- Contributing to knowledge transfer and dissemination of research findings.
- Establishing research and education links with industry and public health organizations.
- Supervising and mentoring students.
- Assigning grades and advising students
- Preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus) and maintaining a course website
