Job Description
Co-ordinate trials and samples from Pilot Tannery through to production.
Operate equipment in the Pilot Tannery to achieve required results.
Monitor and Evaluate trials and samples in consultation with department heads and in line with job cards and recipes.
Stop any trial if the success is questionable.
Check general quality of production and samples as they move through the system and report any problems to the department head.
Provide feedback and reports to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure the pilot tannery adheres to a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness.
Ensure equipment is maintained to required standard of operation.
Ensure the administrative aspects of this job are up to standard.
Comply with the requirements of the OHSAct and procedures of the SHEQ management systems as applicable to this position.
Perform any other duties regarding design and development appointed from time to time as deemed necessary by department.
