To assist the Legal Department with administrative duties, including duties related to the drafting, reviewing, and editing of legal agreements, maintaining the custody of legal documents, research, preparation of internal memos and to facilitate the efficient process of reviews, signatures, and document control by the Legal Department of all documents and agreements within the Legal Department

Key performance areas:
Drafting of Agreements as instructed by Legal Advisors
Review of documents submitted to ensure that all relevant legal terms are in order
Liaise with organisations and individuals regarding queries or comments from the Legal Department (when requested to do so)
Provide clients with ongoing feedback
Arrange meetings between the Legal Department and relevant stakeholders
Conduct periodic follow ups on queries or contracts
Liaise with WHC core members, stakeholders from Divisions, and external parties as and when required by the Legal Advisors
Establish and maintain good working relationships with all clients
Provide detailed and accurate schedules, reports, and internal memorandums on all tasks, including research
Generate reports/memorandums on request
Administrative duties related to keeping record of Agreements and other Legal Documents
Ensuring, where relevant, that deadlines and/or important dates are adhered to
Preparing files and documents, which may include administrative duties such as printing, copying, scanning, indexing, and paginating
Obtaining Agreements from the Contracts Department as requested, within a reasonable turnaround time
Assist with ad hoc requests from colleagues in the Legal Department
Required minimum education and training:
LLB Degree (obtained or in progress)
Required minimum work experience:
Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a Legal role or department
Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities:
Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Good administrative skills, time-management, ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, quick learner with general office etiquette
Must be able to maintain confidentiality, tact and professionalism at all times
Able to exercise discretion, take initiative and be resolution driven
Must be able to work independently and work as part of a multidisciplinary and interdependent team
Maintain a good code of conduct
