Job SummaryPosition: Legal SecretaryLocation: Sandton, GautengMinimum Qualifications Required:

  • Diploma or certificate in Secretarial Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years Dictaphone Typing experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Litigation and High Court Experience
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Personal Skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including preparing and editing legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and electronic.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances.
  • Handle telephone calls, emails, and other communications in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and manage court documents, including summonses, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
