Job Description
Minimum qualification
Grade 12 Occupational Certificate : Lift Technician or related qualification At least 3 Years Installing and Maintaining Lifts/Elevators
Responsibilities
Interpret layout diagrams and set out an installation job Interpret electrical drawings to fault find and wire circuits in lifts Interpret electronic principles and build basic electronic circuits Apply the appropriate hand skills using various hand tools and power tools Install, maintain ropes and adjust lift components Discuss installation or maintenance requirements with clients Install lifts and escalators Modify circuitry in lifts and escalators Monitoring performance of lifts and escalators with a computer Maintaining lifts and escalators and fix faults Free people who become trapped in lifts Inspect lift equipment to ensure it is functioning properly, and repair or replace parts as needed Start-up and operate lifts Perform ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of lifts Perform periodic checks and inspections of lift systems

Pay: R9000,00 - R12000,00 per month
License/Certification:
Code 8 Drivers Licence (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
50% (Preferred)
