Job Description
A dynamic mining manufacturer and supplier based in Rustenburg, North West is looking to employ a Registered Lifting Machinery Inspector (LMI) with 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role.Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Valid Drivers License
- Candidate must reside in the North West or be willing to relocate
- A minimum of 5 years working experience in the field
- Candidate must be in exceptional health
- All applicants should be able to pass a full medical including, heat tolerance, lung function tests as well as criminal and financial screening
- Good Communication skills (verbal, written)
- Highly motivated, competent & energetic individual
- Pro-active individual with a positive can-do attitude
- Place of work is Rustenburg. Must reside in Rustenburg or willing to relocate at own cost.
- Must have complete knowledge of lifting equipment
- On-Site Service and repairs to all makes of Beams, electric overhead cranes, electric rope hoists, electric chain hoists, mechanical chain-blocks, and lever blocks
- Installation and calibration of load limiting devices
- In House Strip and Quotes to electric overhead cranes, electric rope hoists, electric chain hoists, mechanical chain-blocks, and lever blocks
- In House Proof Load Testing to Beams, electric overhead travelling cranes, electric rope hoists and chain hoists
- Modifications to upgrade electrical and mechanical units
- Client Liaison, administration, and correspondence
