Well established attorney firm based in the Northern Suburbs is looking to employ a Junior Litigation Secretary on a temporary contract for three months.
Responsibilities:
Typing, formatting and collating of notices and pleadings
Incorporating amendments to documents and verifying that the amendments have been effected correctly
Preparing resource, counsel and client files
FICA administration: following up to ensure the FICA requirements are complete
Ad hoc duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
3 years experience as a litigation / legal secretary in a litigation department
Matric essential
Secretarial diploma / paralegal qualification advantageous
Full working knowledge of all MS packages
Essential to be to multi-task and prioritize all work
Display attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills
Maintain high standards of confidentiality
Honesty, reliability and punctuality
Excellent time management skills
