Job Description
CORE PURPOSE OF JOBTo be responsible for the creation of a holistic and engaging living and learning environment which foster student growth, development, and academic success, by developing and coordinating programmes which will enhance the students experience in the residences and also promote academic achievement, personal development, and community engagement.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Develop and manage residence living and learning programmes
- Develop and facilitate leadership training programmes for student leaders in residences.
- Coordinate the residence First Year Welcoming Programme
- Manage and ensure smooth running of Residence House Committee Elections
- Manage and maintain all residential living spaces.
- Knowledge of student development theory and their application in the residence space
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of academic support structures and resources
- Ability to develop and implement educational programmes.
- Organisational skills
- Technologically savvy
- M+3 qualification (Degree/Diploma) preferably in Education/Social Science
- 3-5 Years working experience in a university environment.
