Loading Operator (animal Industry)
Job Description
Sovereign, a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets with operations in five provinces, is seeking a thorough and committed individual for the position of Loading Operator for its Farm Services operations in the Agriculture division. The Loading Operator is responsible for ensure the efficient and timeous hygienic loading and removal of chicken litter from Broiler farms. Fill up coal banks with coal for HeatCo's on Broiler farms. This position reports to the Supervisor: Push Out.The ideal candidate must be in possession of a grade 12 certificate or NQF Level 4 equivalent, a front-end loader certificate and have 1 years' loader operator experience.Results Required
- Adhere to daily production schedule
- Confirm daily maintenance check sheets are completed and actioned.
- Adhere to Manure Push Out SOP ensuring that all manure in houses is removed in stipulated time periods
- Always adhere to biological risk procedures and communicate abnormalities immediately
- Adhere and comply with all safety requirements
- Action ad hoc projects and tasks when necessary
- Passion to succeed.
- Maintain high work standards, even when pressurized.
- Assertive but approachable.
- Hands on approach.
- Able to persevere in the face of problems.
- Good analytical skills and able to take corrective action.
- Excellent communication skills.
