Our client, a prestigious lodge in the Northern Capexe2x80x99s Kuruman area, Kalahari Desert, is seeking a dedicated Lodge Management Couple to oversee operations and provide an exceptional guest experience. This opportunity is open to South African and Namibian nationals, with work permits arranged for the right candidates. The salary is highly negotiable and market-related, with an immediate start available.DescriptionAs the Lodge Management Couple, you will be at the helm of a luxury lodge in the Kalahari Desert, managing every aspect of its operations to ensure the highest standards of service for international guests. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff, guest relations, reservations, and the overall maintenance and upkeep of the lodge. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests, leveraging your knowledge of the Kalaharixe2x80x99s unique environment to offer authentic, tailored experiences. This role requires a combination of hospitality excellence and hands-on management skills, including financial oversight and general maintenance.Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a Lodge Couple (Husband & Wife): Ideally, candidates with experience managing a 5-star lodge in Namibia, Botswana, or South Africa within the Kalahari Desert.
  • Experience in the Kalahari Desert: Must have a deep understanding of the regionxe2x80x99s vegetation and environment, with prior lodge management experience catering to international guests.
  • Professional Hunter (PH) Experience: Previous experience as a PH would be advantageous.
  • Farm Management Experience: Previous experience in farm management, particularly in general maintenance and cattle management, would also be beneficial.
  • Languages: Must be fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
  • Nationality: Open to South African and Namibian nationals; work permits can be arranged.
  • Salary: Highly negotiable and market-related, depending on experience.
