Our client is looking for an accomplished Lodge Management Couple who can seamlessly manage all aspects of lodge operations, team leadership, guest relations, and maintenance. The successful couple will ensure high standards across every area of the lodge, from front-of-house guest service to back-of-house maintenance. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the on-site operational team, ensuring alignment with company values and policies.Guest Relations: Uphold exceptional standards of guest service to guarantee a memorable and seamless experience for each visitor.Health and Safety: Oversee all health, safety, and security measures, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.Budget Oversight: Implement and manage lodge budgets in conjunction with head office, ensuring financial objectives are met.Strategic Planning: Proactively manage operational logistics and coordinate with supporting departments for smooth lodge operations.Maintenance Oversight: Supervise upkeep and maintenance of the lodge and facilities to uphold constant high standards.Problem Solving: Address challenges with quick, effective solutions in a remote and fast-paced environment.Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of lodge management experience in a high-end, nature-based setting.
• Professional Presentation: Mature and polished demeanor with strong communication skills; proficiency in Afrikaans is preferred.
• Passion for Nature: Strong interest in nature and an understanding of the activities associated with the lodges location.
• Qualifications: Valid drivers license, own transport, and a boat skipper license are required.
• Food & Beverage Knowledge: Demonstrable expertise in food, wine, and fine dining experiences.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing staff relations and maintaining strong team dynamics.
• Adaptability: Able to multitask, solve problems on the fly, and meet changing business demands.
• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in all areas, particularly guest experience and lodge upkeep.
• Legal Requirements: Must be a South African citizen or have a valid work permit.
