Job Summary Responsibilities:
Lodge Manager:

• Overseeing daily lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Managing staff schedules, training, and performance to maintain high standards of service.
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Handling guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Managing lodge finances, budgets, and inventory control.
• Collaborating with the lodge owner or management team to enhance guest experiences and achieve business goals.

Guide:

• Conducting guided game drives and nature walks, providing expert knowledge of local wildlife, ecology, and conservation efforts.
• Tailoring guest experiences to meet individual interests and preferences.
• Ensuring guest safety and comfort during activities, adhering to lodge and wildlife regulations.
• Contributing to lodge conservation and sustainability initiatives through education and awareness.
• Providing exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs, and exceeding expectations.

Requirements:
For Lodge Manager:

• Previous experience in lodge or hospitality management, preferably in a luxury lodge environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Proficiency in reservations systems and Microsoft Office suite.

For Guide:

• Proven experience as a Field Guide or Safari Guide, ideally in a luxury lodge setting.
• FGASA
• Valid driver's license and proficiency in off-road driving techniques.
• First Aid certification and proficiency in handling emergency situations.
• A passion for conservation and sustainable tourism practices.
