Job Description
Job Summary Candidate requirements;
- Grade 12 essential, preferably with tertiary education in tourism/hospitality
- Previous experience in a supervisory level is essential
- Previous experience in a lodge based setting is essential
- Must be extroverted, with a guest focused mindset
- Lateral thinking ability
- Great staff management skills
- Must be computer literate
- Exeprence using Nightsbridge preferred
- Basic maintenance knowledge preferred
- Daily morning meetings
- Day Sheets
- Admin
- Orders
- Stock control
- Budgeting
- Creating and maintaining SOPs
- On the job staff training
- Reservations
- Social Media Marketing
- Reporting to board of directors at monthly board meetings
- Taking minutes at board meetings
- Maintaining shift and leave schedules
- Menu Planning
- Guest relations
- Room Checks
- Check Ins
- Check Outs
