Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience & Service Excellence

• Ensure world-class guest experiences, personalized service, and attention to detail
• Engage with guests, address concerns, and ensure their stay exceeds expectations
• Oversee check-ins, departures, and special requests
• Operations & Staff Management

• Lead and manage all lodge departments, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, and guest services
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff to maintain high service standards
• Monitor daily lodge operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service delivery
• Financial & Revenue Management

• Oversee lodge budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability
• Monitor bookings, occupancy rates, and pricing strategies to optimize revenue
• Implement cost-effective solutions without compromising guest satisfaction
• Logistics & Maintenance

• Ensure proper maintenance of the lodge, including rooms, facilities, and guest areas
• Manage procurement and inventory of supplies, ensuring cost control
• Work closely with suppliers and service providers to maintain lodge standards
• Marketing & Guest Relations

• Assist in promoting the lodge through digital marketing, partnerships, and events
• Foster relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients
• Enhance the lodges online presence and reputation through guest feedback management

• Minimum 5 years of lodge management experience, preferably in a luxury lodge or boutique hotel
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Background in hospitality management, tourism, or related fields
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Financial and budget management experience
• Knowledge of hospitality systems and property management software
• Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to the lodge environment

• Experience in eco-tourism and sustainable hospitality practices
• Familiarity with wildlife conservation or safari lodge management
• Knowledge of fine dining and wine pairing for guest experiences
