Stunning 5-star lodge near Hluhluwe is recruiting an experienced Sous Chef with experience working at a lodge.Experience required:Drivers licence is essentialAt least 2+ years Chef experience at a 5-star lodgePassion for kitchen managementPassion for training staff, creating fabulous food, and new ideasDuties include:Kitchen Hygiene standards setResponsible for training chefs & implementing kitchen standardsAbide by the menu setWork with the training chef when visits are conductedCreative Bush BanquetingProactive MaintenanceGood communicationGood stock controls and stock rotationResponsible for all food orders, storerooms and fridge and deep freezes in absence of the executive chefAll food going out to guests at any time to be checked in absence of the executive chefChef to check buffets/dinner/breakfastsQuality and quantity of snacks to game drives to be checkedGood interaction with GuestsGood discipline and fair treatmentGood Teamwork to be promotedHave Fun and be FlexibleAlways be approachableBe aware of & make follow chefs aware of special dietary needs for Guests
